It is time to remind all these Trump-haters that their continued NeverTrump speech only helps Hillary...how stupid can you idiots be to not realize what you are doing. I had not even dreamed that this cycle would unmask the GOPe as it has. I have been saying that the deconstruction of the GOP is a necessary first step to undoing the Bush/Clinton/Obama misdeeds, but I never imagined that it would be revealed even before the election.

I'm not sure what part of "restoring the rule of law" is under your skin, but Trump has talked about Hillary and the email server, about the RKBA, and has offered specific names (only two so far, months ago) as potential nominees to SCOTUS.
Romney, McCain, Ryan, Boehner, etc., etc. aside...they have proven ineffective in stopping Donald because they absolutely do not...and do not want to understand what is happening with the people of this nation.
But they are going to find out.

I agree with every word you said. I also feel that the way Trump and Cruz have been treated by the Republican establishment makes me regret every cent I ever gave to the Bush campaign and the RNC
Cruz failed on his own. It wasn't Trump or Trump supporters.
Part of the reason Cruz lost is because he made himself look less and less like a "good man".
We all saw it with our own eyes: a willingness to say anything to win, no matter how distorted, and an overall Machiavellian approach to everything. Not to mention jumping in bed with the GOPe.
Ted Cruz was still doing it the day of the Indiana primary, and Cruz didn't even congratulate Donald Trump when Cruz made his "suspension" speech.
But that's water under the bridge. Maybe Cruz will play a role in the Trump team, but his downfall was brought about by himself, not mean ol' Trump.

Before Trump came along, I thought so too. Now I'm not so sure. Maybe the infestation and rot implicates 10-20% of the membership, which happens to be in control. Tear out that wing.
Hindsight being 20-20, I can't now think of any other way to get this political realignment done quickly and relatively neatly. It hinges on an exceptionally strong, confident and well-known person, from outside of the usual political circles - I think the last time this sort of person obtained political visibility and power was colonial America.
And preserve Romneycare...
