Derby day! Place yer bets! I don’t know my pick yet. When my big teen son was young, he won 2 years in a row! He likes to pick them. I’d place bets online for him and his horse won two years in a row, mine that bird was one of them. Last year was fun with a real Triple Crown winner.
We have a ton of mint outside; maybe I will make some kind of virgin juleps for the kids! The oldest can add alcohol if he wants (over 21).

I haven’t paid much attention to The Derby this year. Primaries are more important. Although, we need a break on occasion.
Ginger ale and mint were what we gave the kids. They thought that’s what Julips were. It was always exciting to go to garden and pick your own mint
