Yum - the buffet looks delish! I’ve never had a mint julep - more of a Scotch than bourbon gal; but, I do like mint and mojitos, so juleps would probably be good - especially for today. Now to decide which hat I wear ;-)
Good morning, SC.
Ah, guess I will need to have a double serving this am.............
Nope....back to square one!
Any way the rally was an ordeal for me and totally worth it!
We got there 3 and a half hours before door opening. The parking lot was gated and entrance was guarded by SS who asked if you had ticket. No protesters allowed in, so I never saw a protester all day.
Lined up and had great conversations with good patriots from all over the state.
One fellow near me had been to a Bernie rally but thought he might vote Trump so came to listen. He thought though that maybe Trump didn’t really believe what he was saying. I told him about old videos I’d seen and how he has said the same things all along. He listened to me and others who talked to him. I think he will vote for Trump!
Security is unbelievable. I said to the SS guy who did my screening, looks like a busy day. He smiled and said he loved it and wouldn’t have it any other way! He loved his job!
Trump got the crowd going! Loved his Hillary and Bill stuff and Elizabeth Warren Goofy Indian stuff!
Sad to say there was a disgusting racist near me who ticked everyone around him off. And also some tree hugger weirdo who was recording the whole thing while making environmental comments. Lots of young men there and some near the tree hugger kept putting their signs in front of his phone to block his camera. LOL
Trump looks great. Don’t know how he does it...I’m exhausted!
Help yourself, Ray.
Couer D Alene is a beautiful area - been through there many times on the way to Montana for family weddings, visits, funerals. The Couer D Alene Resort is very pretty and has a cool golf area on an island.
Thank You!
Forgot to put it on my other post - my cousin also graduated from the University of Idaho (Moscow) and played on the football team.
How did you get the pic to post?
When we first moved up here, I had to stop and think about it as I always wanted to pronounce it pully-up. It’s PU-ell-up. Home of the WA State Fair - used to be the 6th largest state fair in the US, not sure if it still is or not but it’s YUGE.
Another one is Sequim - wanted to pronounce it see-qui-um, but it’s really squim.
As you can see by my picture, Donald is NOT orange.
I don’t know why but I really wanted to know if he was really Orange or not...also his hands are large. Maybe not in comparison to his body, he is a big man, but they look totally normal.
All the ladies hats are so pretty that I’d be happy with any of them. I used to like to wear hats (not like those) years ago, but no one wears them anymore.
The center alignment is optional. I got rid of the "resize" part of the URL. The URL you put in was also flawed by having a closing quotation mark, but no opening quotation mark. The "img src" command, with that long URL, is all on one line in the source code, but displays on multiple lines in a browser.
There is Western State University in Bellingham and the Western State Mental Hospital is also in Bellingham (they are actually 2 separate institutions).
Most people I know say Pee-ALL-up I’ve never heard it pronounced like you wrote. But you’re from Washington so I’ll defer :]
Good morning Lysie!
Thanks for the lovely brunch spread and the hat pictures - enjoyed those!
Here’s a great place for breakfast in Spokane. Frank’s Diner,
a real luxury train box car, converted into a restaurant. There’s two of them in town.
