Sir, you are utterly delusional. That you would slime and slander a distinguished 100% Conservative (refer to his ACU ratings) in Sen. Cruz and pimp a creepy, violent, racist, pederast-authoring, anti-Semitic thug and Socialist in Webb (84% lifetime leftist rating) is offensive to the extreme.

BTW, Webb quit as Navy Secretary just ahead of having his ass fired. One of his worst hires ever. He also had the unmitigated nerve to claim Reagan’s endorsement running for the Senate in 2006 as a Democrat against Conservative Republican George Allen.

Cruz is nothing more than a Globalist in Conservative clothing.

Question if he is soooo Conservative why was he running for an office he was Constitutionally ineligible for? Did he learn that at Harvard?

Right, Right the Canadian born son of a Cuban father (anti Batista/pro Castro) was exactly the sort of guy the Founders were looking for when they wrote Article II.

Why did this 100% “conservative” vote for the Coker Bill? TPA? TPP? He’s 100% alright. 100% Globalist of the Bush flavor. Not for me.

Couple that with the phony bible on his sleeve and he’s just not for me......or the electorate either.

Guess you were fooled.... Hard to swallow isn’t it?

When McCain wanted Liarman he was told he’d have a fight on his hands if he nominated him. The convention should not approve any liberal democrat scum running mate.

Lincoln chose Andrew Johnson in 1864, Lincoln was killed and Johnson became President, he was a not a good one.

I would have a lot of trouble voting for a piece of garbage like Jim Webb, Tulsi Gabbard, or Bernie Sanders (yes, one person on this thread mentioned Sanders? A joke? How am I supposed to tell anymore?). Such a selection would be a middle finger to us all.

I doubt VERY much such a selection would be made, but it’s frustrating that a few nincompoops seems to actually think it’s a good idea. Good grief.

There is a list of people Trump is looking at. Ted Cruz is not feasible as a choice. He does good work in the Senate and I hope he continues to do so.

Choices I’ve heard are Christ Christie, Mike Huckabee, Marsha Blackburn, Paul LePage, and Mary Fallin. However, Christie is not popular back home and Fallin had a very messy divorce back in the day. Huckabee is nothing great and did a poor job of party-building, but he has celebrity and a friendly style. LePage has a Horatio Alger life story which could play well, but he’s untested on the national stage. At this time, I think Blackburn is the best choice.

There is also talk that Trump may choose a retired four-star general, though I’ve heard no names.
