Cruz has really turned me off.
I like Christie for AG. He’s a former prosecutor that I think can get the job done nicely.
Whoever it is needs to be a lover of the Constitution and have a great desire to see the Constitution reinstated as the law of the land.
Christie is fine. Guiliani would be a bulldog.
I prefer Christie for AG, too.
Stay Puft Crispy is not only weak on the 2nd Amendment, he declared there was nothing criminal about illegal invaders when he was U.S. Attorney.
Agreed. Christie is much better pick.
I love that Carson is openly talking about prosecuting Hillary.
What about Christie as AG and Gowdy as SCOTUS pick?
“I like Christie for AG. Hes a former prosecutor that I think can get the job done nicely.”
I agree. At this point in time I would take Christie over Cruz. Cruz said he would not go after Bill Clinton. To weak for me.
“Whoever it is needs to be a lover of the Constitution and have a great desire to see the Constitution reinstated as the law of the land.” Well, then you need someone exactly like Cruz as AG and then on the USSC to replace Justice Scalia. Christie’s accomplishments in his 6 years as Governor on issues that might show him as someone who fits your bill as quoted above are barely noticeable and ephemeral.. The only thing that can rightly be said about him is that he was somewhat better then a Democrat. He lost the fight to appoint even a moderate Republican to the NJSC and finally, cravenly, nominated a Democrat of uncertain alliances whom Sweeney is rushing to confirm. We would have been better off with no court action at all. The few major moves he’s made here have turned to shit and NJ is on the short list as one of the States that could follow PR into bankruptcy. Please, try to set aside the aberrant picture the media has painted of Cruz over the last few months and review his solid record as Solicitor General of Texas and the positions he’s supported during his time as Senator as well as the enemies he’s made.
I like Cruz and he’d be a hell of a lot better than Christie. Carson is right about this one.
You want a constitutional conservative for AG, but then reject Cruz (Aka, Mr constitutional conservative) and want Christie, the most liberal RINO out there. That makes no sense.
