TOWNSEND, Mass. —A 225-pound pig that attacked and seriously injured a man less than two hours after attacking a woman at a Massachusetts farm will be put down.
Townsend Police Chief Robert M. Eaton Jr. said his department was investigating "two very unfortunate farm incidents" in the town about 50 miles northwest of Boston.
Police and emergency responders were called to the farm Tuesday evening for a report of an injured woman.
"I need an ambulance. My husband is not home and my pig just literally attacked me," Shannon Hernandez told a 911 dispatcher.
"Your what?" the dispatcher asked.
"My pig," Shannon Hernandez repeated.

Dumb pig! He didn’t know his whole body was a mass of delicious bacon and ham just waiting to be barbecued if he stepped out of line!
Sounds like he is used to the pig figuratively attacking him, but this is a new development.
My grandmother told us of a hog getting out of a pen and taking a baby from a crib on a farmhouse porch an eating it.
I never forgot that story.

Too bad, the pig was really working on turning his life around and was busy recording an oink CD when this tragedy occurred.
We had a scramble pig my daughter caught at the fair that thought he was a guard dog. The look on folks faces when they arrived unannounced and he wouldn’t let them out of their car!

Good thing they didn’t live next door to a mosk. If the pig had had its tantrum there, there would be a hate crime.
