Not to be argumentative, but Ted was overrated IMO.

There were warning signs, but nobody seemed to notice.

When he trashed Trump for being the reason for rally violence, he was attacking Trump’s first amendment rights. He was also attacking his supporters first amendment rights. He was also attacking their fourth amendment right, freedom to assemble.

When he talked down California’s Proposition 187, he was taking down State’s Rights.

When he encouraged Bush not to enforce the immigration laws, he as proving that he could not grasp Article IV, Section 4 of the U. S. Constitution.

I would wager there were other infractions over time.

Ted simply wasn’t the Constitutional expert he claimed to be.

Agreed.

If he were he would have never voted to give Obama fast track authority, whose only defense for it is that 'every President has been given it since FDR'.
