The situation in Venezuela has become so bad that even soldiers are struggling to support themselves.
Over the weekend, six members of the Venezuelan military were detained by local authorities for stealing goats, the Venezuelan newspaper El Nacional reported Sunday. It said the soldiers confessed to stealing the goats and said they did it to feed themselves, since they had no food left in their barracks.

Oh, dear. In a police state the army is usually the last to starve before Bad Things start to happen. In Rome it was the Praetorian Guard, and a wise Emperor kept them very happy...or else.
Based on economics, my guess would be if food is scarce and the economy sucks, there will be an increase in supply of prostitutes and a decrease in the demand for prostitutes.
So probably just food crimes.

Chavez and Maduro aren’t aliens from outer-space sent to conquer Venezuela. They are from that country and reflect its culture. In the past, they would have rec’d great support for their tyranny from the Soviet Union, but this is no longer the case. For the great part, Venezuelans chose this for themselves.
It seems many Latinos have the Caudillo, collectivist mind-set preprogrammed into them. They should get to enjoy the direct fruits of their thinking - long and hard.
At least their stupidity can be a lesson to others in the world.

That’s why both the US and Canada have been (until recently) the only two countries predominantly populated by Northern Europeans, and as a consequence, embraced Capitalism. They rest of the Western Hemisphere is run by Southern Europeans (mostly Portugese and Spaniards) and you can see they are Marxist/Socialist in their “leanings.” Without a Donald Trump Presidency, we may continue to sew the seeds of the complete destruction of our two countries. Surely the worthless turd (Trudeau) isn’t a good move to keep Canada in the Capitalist fold. Maybe Trump should consider a Northern Wall as well!

A politician was trying to explain to a farmer the wonderful benefits he would have under Socialism and tells him “Under Socialism, if someone has two tractors and someone else has none, we take one of the tractors from the person who has two and give it to the person who has none, see?”
The Farmer smiles happily and nods his head yes.
Then the politician says “...and if someone has two cows, and someone else has none, we take one of the cows and give it to the person who has none, see?”
And once again the farmer smiles happily and nods his head Yes.

At this the farmer looks very unhappy and shakes his head no...
The Politician look at him surprised and asks “why? He liked the part about the 2 tractors and the 2 cows?”
And the farmer says “yeah, but I have 2 chickens”
