The overpowering aroma emitted by the Obama administration and a general public discontent might well be enough to get Trump over the top without the support of diehard conservatives. But in my opinion it will be a close-run thing. In my opinion we owe Obama's second term to the indifference of conservatives turned off by Romney's RINO status.

If Trump runs to the right it might make a difference, but if he turns to the center/left (which he probably has to) it's going to be tough.

“Die-hard conservatives” ARE for Trump. These guys are mostly neo-cons and political careerists.

So Trump has non-conservative positions. At least he is on the side of the American people. FRankly, of the Presidents I’ve seen since I became politically aware, 50 years ago, Ronald Reagan is the only one that I can whole-heartedly say that about.

And even he screwed up occassionally.

Don’t let “the best” be the enemy of “the good”

Hillary must be destroyed (politically, no personally SS)
