A number of disappointed Republicans have torched their voter cards and declared support for the #nevertrump campaign after the billionaire businessman clinched the party nomination following Ted Cruz's resignation.
Such is the resentment towards Trump, many are now readying themselves to vote for the Democrats despite being lifelong Republican supporters.
Photographs of them burning their voter registration cards have appeared on social media, while others say they are prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Gingrich: Trump May Turn Out To Be The Most Effective Anti-Left Leader In Our Lifetime
“I hope he is committed to actually doing what he has espoused.”
He always has, or has tried his best, in the past. Can’t see that changing. If anything he’ll be more determined.
I saw him in Radford, VA. Venue only held 3800, but 12000 showed up to see him. SO glad I got there 8am to stand in line. Anyhow, the crowd was absolutely electrified. Gave me goose bumps.
Maybe but thats BS. She wont deal. Shes been watching Obama and he hasnt cut many deals. Trump is a dealmaker. Thats how he rolls.
Clinton will ruin this country.
Yeah.....they weren’t going to vote Republican anyway, folks.
Trump's policy proposals are more closely aligned with the Republican Party platform than any candidate they have backed in 32 years.
Most of these people were admittedly former Democrats.
They were commie infiltrators all the time. They didn't fool me.
Hyperbole isn’t necessary, friend. I know the consequences of a Hillary presidency. I am just unhappy.
I don’t know how I can vote for a candidate who is against free trade, and tells our NATO allies openly: “our role in the security of the free world is conditional.”
I will never vote for Hillary, but I disagree with our nominee on many issues concerning foreign and domestic policy. Those disagreements are open to discussion, but it doesn’t resolve the pit I currently feel in my chest.
We’ll see what happens a month or three from now.
Bye Bye MORONS
“A number of disappointed Republicans’ 1 IS “ A NUMBER” doesnt say what that number is. Pure propagandist tripe.
“conservative, not a Republican. I cant vote for someone that I think is a liberal and is trolling everyone about a wall.”
Your call.
I’m not a republican. I’m a patriot. I’m as focused on Liberty as our founders.
“For the first time in my life, unless there turns out to be a state issue I really care about, or I get really excited about a candidate for governor Im sitting this election out.”
If you were able to vote for McCain, and then worse, Romney, perhaps you ought to give Trump the benefit of the doubt as well as be open to the “75% of FReepers” who just may see something you’re missing, and go to the polls, hold your nose, and vote for Trump. I honestly don’t think you’ll be disappointed in the *overall* results. NO candidate will align with 100% of anybody’s views, and probably is doing well at even 80% agreement, so of course there will be things that are disappointments, but if you choose to stay home, think of the joy and glee some socialist, gibs-me-dat, libtard will have at knowing their vote stood because you didn’t vote.
The foreign policy we have had for the last 28 years has been a dismal falure.
People are opening their eyes all over the world right now and really seeing and living what has been done to them.
The time is right to change what hasn’t worked.
I understand disappoinment, but throwing the baby out with the bathwater is not an answer.
There is no way any of us can predict what lies ahead, but to actually turn the country over to a person like Hillary or a guy who will bring the misery of Venezuela down on America is a horrible thought.
Now, sitting out of the race is another story entirely. But I can see no way you can look at their policies side by side and say, "I'm going to go with Hillary."
Now, if you're a Establishment Globalist, I'm sure Hillary's your "gal".
Let em go. We will fill their vacuum and become the establishment ourselves.
It’s always nice for the enemy to expose which side he is really on and especially when he has been wearing our uniform all these years and has probably been secretly fragging our own guys.
Blah, blah, blah. When they see him shred her to pieces they will come crawling back, albeit quietly.
Enjoy the utopia.
They have thier opinion.
My opinion is they are being childish attention whores who are putting thier ideology ahead of country. The simple fact is we are guaranteed continued loss of religious freedom, second amendment rights, the Supreme Court and keep borders under wide open if Hillary is elected president.
But, keep voting your “principles” you feckless idiots.
Your opinion may vary.
I have hope that when it is time to cast their secret ballot these people will regain their love for traditional American and conservative values.
I cannot comprehend that thinking. I have my personal beliefs, principles and morals, and there is no way in Hades that I could allow hatred for a republican candidate move me to vote for Hillary or any other democrat that I know of that is 100% against everything I believe in.
I really really did not like McCain, but I was absolutely was not going to vote for Obama, and voted for McCain to stop the communist. (Of course Palin made it more palatable)
“Principled conservatives” won’t vote for Trump but will support Clinton.
Same as the traitors as in Congress. They can go to hell.
