It’s definitely humorous, but China doesn’t have much reason to fear us anymore. Communism won. Americans now accept nearly all the tenents of liberalism. While we destroy ourselves with Left-Liberalism, China is roaring ahead of us economically. Barring a major blow-up of China’s economy, they will overtake us in only 2 years. They already have in purchasing power parity. The entire Western world is in relative decline. I think I agree with the latest economists and social studies that show innovation is in decline. Automobiles, airplanes, air conditioning, appliances, electricity, radio, television, etc. etc. have already happened. That kind of growth cannot be replicated. And to boot, abortion and low birth rates are hampering future workers/consumers. Scary times...
Not only that, but Christianity in China is growing by DOUBLE DIGITS in percentage terms. The sense of liberty and freedom followers of Jesus have is influencing that nation.
Our nation, unless a revival occurs, is becoming one of hostility to Christianity. Churches that ARE accepted/tolerated in the culture at large are often leaning toward apostasy (see: Osteen, PCUSA, et al.)
Dig a little in their ledger-—they exhibit the very problems attributed to the US. The coastal regions have the money and jobs; and, identify with the western democracies. The interior has the greater population and poverty.
The party is desperately seeking to claw back the wealth which has potential to unseat their control of the military. Many high in the military have become wealthy or have wealthy family; and, therefore are viewed as threatening party control of the country. Civil war is in the air.
There is no point to going on. All is lost.
