The attorney general of the U.S. Virgin Islands is targeting dozens of conservative and libertarian organizations in a racketeering lawsuit against climate change skeptics that has been widely described as an effort to silence political opponents.
In a subpoena issued in March, the office of USVI attorney general Claude Walker demanded from Exxon Mobil copies of communications between the oil company and 90 different political and policy organizations “and any other organizations engaged in research or advocacy concerning Climate Change or policies.”

None of this makes sense. According to the article, the AGs met with miscellaneous environmental groups in January and issued a subpoena in March. The article mentions a ‘federal lawsuit’ but doesn’t say in which federal court it was filed If the lawsuit was filed in federal court, who are the named defendants, and any such named defendants’ attorneys would have filed a motion to dismiss before any discovery, including subpoenas, took place.

Most fast-food restaurants are franchises, locally owned and operated. They only pay a percentage of revenue to the franchiser.

It’s time someone targets the left for abuse of power. Take it to them on so many fronts. In a quick search, I can't find any evidence that ExxonMobil does any business in the US Virgin Islands. There are only a handful of retail outlets, and they all appear to be locally operated.
I could find only one distributor, which imports gasoline from Puerto Rico:
