We used to spray neighborhoods. Guess that’s not EPA approved these days.

Hell we used to ride our bikes behind the spray trucks in the 50’s. Maybe THAT would explain a few things. LOL!
We still spray for mosquitoes in Florida at least. My county has a web site that gives a schedule of spraying areas. They use mosquito traps placed all over the county to determine when and where they need to spray. They drive down the street with a very loud machine in the back of a truck that disperses a fine spray of permethrin, or they use airplanes spraying naled and anvil. To kill larva, they use methoprene and spinosad.
