It IS her business. She’s paying for his groceries. So are you and I.”

So that gives you a right to shame people who use them? You are unbelievable.

I recall standing behind a woman who was buying food I couldn’t afford with her Lone Star card.

The cashier asked her if she wanted the receipt and the woman turned away, dismissing the clerk with a backwards wave of her hand. (She certainly didn’t appear needy. She did appear too busy thinking she deserves others to support her to EVEN KEEP TRACK of what she spent.

Before she got out of earshot I proclaimed rather loudly “ I’ll Take That Receipt, It Was My Tax Dollars That Paid For It”.

The look on the cashiers face was priceless LOL! Seemed everyone in line behind me grew very quiet.

Yes, I think we have seen people with food stamps behave in such a manner, and it is upsetting. I don’t think shaming people and losing manners with people is the best way to fight such a problem. Certainly not in the way the woman in the video carried herself. Like I said in a previous comment, many people in the country are just one job loss away from being on food stamps themselves.

I have had family members that needed them, they certainly don’t anymore.
