I just got back from running errands. Caught a few minutes of Rush. I hadn't listened in ages. Boy was it disappointing. He was talking about how Krauthammer didn't think he could vote for Trump, and how Conservatism no longer exists. Well, he allowed as how if the National Review continues to publish, there’ll still be conservatism.
Rush said Trump may DO things that are conservative, but basically, that would be by accident, not by ideology.

Oh, and how the talking heads couldn't understand how working folks could vote for Trump, him being so rich. So, the working stiffs are supposed to hate him because he's rich, and the elite hate him because he's just a blue-collar guy at heart.

Imagine my disappointment to realize I'm not conservative. Apparently we've been having us plenty of conservatism with the likes of Romney, McCain, Bush, Bush, Boehner, etc. And now suddenly, so much conservatism everywhere is now gone. I had no idea that open borders, one world order, medicare expansion, welfare and food stamps for illegals, obamacare was conservatism ... nor that a strict constitutionalist interprets NBC as born anywhere in the world as long as one parent was, at least at one time, a citizen of the US.

I guess I'm really angry.

You sound just like the call in people on the Laura Ingraham show yesterday. We don’t want a Preacher for a President. These so called PURIST are really trying to close in our party. Shawn Hannity was saying our Party was never conservatives. We thought we voted in Conservative people both in the House and the Senate and, ‘WHAT DID IT GET US?” They voted for almost everything Obama wanted.

We’ve always thought the Republican Party liked the Rich and hard working man. Now the Krauthammer’s are trying to say an accomplished businessman isn’t to be respected. We haven’t left the Party they’ve left us and our principles.
