" it’s not like you are breaking a law"

In Texas, if they have a "30.06" sign posted, you are most definitely breaking the law.

Having said that, 30.06 signs in Texas are as rare as honest democrats...

As said in #21, disobey this sign and you are guilty of a misdemeanor in Texas.

But, as I also said, they're rare. Except for the statutory sign forbidding carrying in businesses that make 51% of their revenue from alcohol -- I, like you, disregard all other "no guns" signs...

In reality, I don’t think it is easy for a moral person to look into a mans eyes and take his life. For a criminal, yes, but the killer only wounded the employee... His wife. I agree, keep it out of site until on target. Criminals don’t have the same hesitancy. A good reminder to never get physically close.

Public stocks, public lashings, hard time, public hangings.
Quickly administered.

Here the worst possible thing you could get charged with is criminal trespass. We will take that chance. I’d rather be tried by twelve than carried by six.

Yep, Trespass is the charge here in Texas, too...
