Curt Schilling was recently fired by ESPN in large part because of his frequent social-media activity, specifically controversial memes and comments shared by the former pitcher. So when reports circulated online that ESPN had cut Schillings memorable bloody sock performance in the 2004 ALCS from its Sunday airing of a 30 for 30″ documentary about that Red Sox-Yankees showdown, it was no surprise to see him weigh in quickly, and strongly.

He’s probably a Eww Yuck Skankees fan.
K,Have not been following this latest from ESPN.Didn’t they award Jenner most courageous of the year?We do local comcast.
Not only true, but demonstrably true given what we have been seeing.
One can factually state that posting on Facebook can be hazardous to both your personal and professional well being, and working for a notoriously liberal entity makes it even more so.
Liberals like the Timpanagos1 encourage this kind of activity and reprisal by ESPN, because they WANT people to censor themselves. They WANT people to NOT exercise their 1st Amendment rights, and people like this Timpanagos1 POS fully support this kind of activity, and are completely of the opinion that Schilling deserved it, and anyone else who speaks out should see this "example" and heed it.
There are plenty of conservative Yankees fans, and I am willing to bet the real conservatives amongst them, even the ones that detest Curt Schilling, don’t countenance this reprehensible behavior by ESPN.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all to learn the turd in question is a liberal Yankees fan, which makes him even more despicable and unworthy of paying attention to, because in addition to being a POS liberal, he allows his stupid sports preferences to support totalitarian injustice, which makes him even more of a petty piece of garbage. I would have more respect for a liberal who could stand up and say what they really stand for.
And he also got into trouble for comparing radical muslims to Nazis, also demonstrably accurate.
So that’s what it was.Thanks.
“If Curt wanted to be a focus of the documentary, all of his life should be open to discussion.”
You won’t get much of an argument from me there if he was the *focus* of a documentary.
This particular documentary was more about the Red Sox completely destroying the Yankees after the Yankees went and got all lazy playing against the Red Sox in the 04 ALCS. You know, their entitlement syndrome ...
Schilling was merely a part of that Red Sox team that completely embarrassed the Yankees. I still can’t see what his failed video game company has to do with this.
You know, the best Yankees evisceration was performed by the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates ... humble 2nd baseman Bill Mazeroski crushed a walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th ... future Hall of Famer and drunk Mickey Mantle (who somehow miraculously got a donor liver despite not really meeting criteria for being that high up on the donor list mind you ... they need to bring that up every time his name is mentioned) was reportedly crying over that loss like a six year old bitch ... the Yankees filth on the HoF committee refused to consider Maz for years despite being the *best* defensive 2B in the history of the game. Fortunately, he’s in there now.
I do radio and TV-non-profit.Gives me a lot of freedom and keeps me poor.I applauded him for speaking his mind on a sinking ship.I see ESPN losing money fast.
No problem. As I said before, there are many who said Curt Schilling should have known better than to post that, I and I agree-to a point. (I am someone who doesn’t do Facebook, I think that is a cancer, but that is my opinion)
When the liberals get others to forsake their 1st Amendment rights in order to retain comfort and societal standing, they will have won.
And they are already there, in more ways than we can count. They haven’t won yet, but they are closing in.

Four of the best Boston sports days ever——and we’ve had quite a few of them.
