41 of 55 Arizona national GOP delegates to the 2016 Convention essentially secured over the weekend by Ted Cruz ground (game) team in tandem with ABT (Anybody But Trump).

You have an obvious disconnect from the situation here in the U.S. Try selling your carp in Japan.

Preface: I voted for Cruz, but know its over and he will not win the nomination.

Now that’s out of the way...why on earth is the delegate system a surprise to people?

For my entire life, the GOP primary electoral results have meshed with the desires of the ‘smoke filled back room’ of the party.

This year it doesn’t...neither Cruz or Trump was meant to win. That’s a good thing. But these two still have to battle it out within a rules structure that neither created. Cruz isn’t cheating...he’s playing by the convoluted rules put in front of him.

Some day soon, we will have to unify - likely behind Trump, I concede...I mean its 99% certain at this point. I hope we can all put the cheating accusations behind us and rally behind either of them, though.

Cruz works constantly to undo the work of the voters.

Cruz is a lawyer, and he thinks and acts like a lawyer. I’ve never accused him of doing anything that was outside the letter of the rules.... but to the average person, his behavior is beyond the pale.

That’s one of the many reasons he’s just losing support hand over fist.

In the real world, you play to win, don’t try to find loopholes after the fact. Cruz would give the lawyer answer that he’s playing by the rules and playing to win.. but to 90+% of the electorate, what he’s doing is playing dirty and double dealing... whether its against the rules or not.

Cruz thinks and acts like a lawyer, not a winner.

Cruz is a religious zealot and unelectable. He has the personality of a wet napkin. Hillary would crush him.

Kasich is one low life sob. Not even a chance for him to win, and he is playing games with his delegates.

On KFYI this AM, it was reported that you hit/voted for a slate of delegates on Sat at AZ convention, example Trump A,B,C; Cruz D,E,F, Kaisch D,E,G. Some of us believe that this is underhanded, not illegal. We are aware politics is slimy but many woke up this year due to Trump and the devastation that Obama caused the country and want the sliminess to stop.

There is no real Cruz/Kasich alliance. Kasich’s campaign advisor is a business partner with Manafort. .

Cruz in using the rules of the system...and every candidate knew those rules...to try and go for the only thing he has any hope for...and that is a 2nd or 3rd ballot.

It is not going to do him any good.

Those delegates are required by law to vote for the winner on the 1st ballot and my own math says that Trump is going to have somewhere between 1,240 and 1,330 delegates for the 1st ballot.

I have been a Cruz supporter...but have also been encouraging him to stop this in fighting ever since the NY Primary.

The writing is on the wall. Continued fighting only hurts the chances in November. I am praying the man will see this.

My Open Letter to Ted Cruz
