Campaign in overdrive in desperate bid to wrestle state from Trump
Inside Ted Cruzs second-floor campaign office here on a recent afternoon, there were telltale signs of an operation in overdrive: dozens of volunteers calling voters and refueling with Mountain Dew, coffee and snacks; staffers busily working on laptops; and an ambitious message on a whiteboard: Our Goal Today = 20,000 Calls.
But there were also indications of trouble. Volunteers said they were hearing misgivings from voters many rooted in insults that front-runner Donald Trump had hurled at Cruz.
Most people who express reservations, explained Megan Kerr, 17, of Fishers, Ind., are concerned with the nickname hes been given Lyin Ted. Frank Cerrone, 68, of Perry Township, Ind., also said there is some idea that Ted Cruz is rigging the system, another Trump attack.
Cruz came to Indiana to try to resuscitate his flagging campaign at a pivotal moment in the Republican presidential race. But with just one day of campaigning left until Tuesdays vote and after a series of desperation measures the freshman senator from Texas is on the verge of a defeat that would ravage his campaign and raise new questions about whether his mission to stop the mogul has become futile.

Time to explore fraud
Glad when this slithering Snake is outta my State
I hope Crooked Hillary sticks as good
[Cruz] continued: The people of Indiana will make a choice: Do we want to get behind a campaign that is based on yelling and screaming and cursing and insults? ...

Prediction Markets Show Cruz Craters After Deal With Kasich; Fiorina, Pence Not Boosting Him

The data compiled here on Breitbart News comes from PredictIt, a betting market that creates an almost free market interpretation of what might happen in a given political election.
The Texas senator had been above 50 cents But, after the (Kasich) deal, Cruz has crashed and despite two desperate measuresthe announcement of his vice presidential pick Carly Fiorina and the Pence endorsementhas not recovered.
Almost instantly after the Pence deal, Trump took a commanding lead over Cruz. While at one point on April 24 the markets had Trump under 40 cents, by midday April 25, the marketsin response to the Cruz-Kasich dealhad corrected themselves to have Trump at over 60 cents. Since then, the markets have only benefited Trump with just small upticks for Cruz that undo themselves moments later when he announced Fiorina as his running mate and when he received the tepid backing of Pence, Indianas governor.
Trump, with new polling showing him well over double digits ahead of Cruz in the Hoosier State, has now skyrocketed way ahead of the Texas senator thereand is widely expected by financial analysts to win the state on Tuesday. Heading into Sunday, Trump was close to 75 centsand he is now over 90 cents projected to be the winner.
The markets have really been ahead of the polling and ahead of the pundits, Rothschild said. But your best bet for accurate and reliable political predictions, it turns out, is actually the marketplace.
It appears as though Cruz is headed for an epic defeat on Tuesday in Indiana, If Cruz loses in Indiana, it is widely expect that Donald Trump will win the GOP nomination for the presidency outright before the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in Julyand that neither Cruz nor anyone else including Kasich will be able to stop him.

“At Cruzs campaign office here in Indianapolis last Tuesday, animosity toward Trump was on clear display. Hillary beats Trump very bad double digits, said one volunteer making the case for Cruz over the phone.”
That’s funny, the latest Rasmussen poll has Trump leading Hitlery by 1 point.
No kidding. If I never hear that whining liar again it will be too soon
That sounds more like Ted of late. He has the Hillary screech going in Lafayette to highlight his lies
I don’t see Cruz beating Trump in Indiana. Indiana’s economy is 30% manufacturing and was much more. These disaffected blue collar workers are Trump voters.
Unions are endorsing Clinton or Sanders. Union members support Trump more than Clinton and Sanders combined.

Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 379 likely Republican Primary voters in Indiana. The poll was conducted from April 28th to the 29th and has a margin of error of ± 5% at a 95% confidence level. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The polls were conducted using live telephone calls to landlines and mobile phone numbers of registered voters in Indiana and weighted by anticipated voting demographics.

excellent graphic
I read or heard somewhere that union leaders are frantically calling the members and basically threatening them to vote Democrat. That will fail of course.
Unions are not going to fare well from all this. Trump will have to break the federal government union(s) to get a lot of what he wants done as well.
Trump said the other day that 50% of NY’s manufacturing has left the state since 2000. I wonder what the numbers are elsewhere.
It appears as though Cruz is headed for an epic defeat on Tuesday in Indiana
For two reasons:
1) I strongly support Trump for President
2) I strongly detest Cruz as a despicable person and fake-American
In that order.
The knockout blow comes tomorrow. Bring it home, Indiana!
Excellent!
I have stolen this, er borrowed it.
