Who knows? I think he's just talking, without really having a point. Maybe he wants the listener to think this means Cruz believes he is on track to win Indiana. But just as likely, since Cruz has made a deal to "lay off" New Mexico and Oregon, he has no reason to hustle out of town. Cruz likely feels comfortable about Nebraska, and is writing off West Virginia.
Cruz is talking about his interaction with a Trump supporter today, raises the NYT "Trump won't build a wall" claim and asserts that if Trump didn't say it, he'd tell NYT to release the tape. Says Trump agrees with national ban on guns. Says if he was Trump, he wouldn't have walked across the street to talk with him, he would have stayed with is supporters and told them to go over and punch him in the face. The foil said "liar", Trump never told anybody to punch a person in the face. Cruz says that this is true, Trump told supporters to punch people in the face, and he'd pay the legal bills. Concludes with "Truth matters." LOL.
After he loses Indiana, heard Ted will be checking out sites for his presidential library (just a rumor).
South Bend is Notre Dame, liberal town.
It wouldn’t surprise me. The whole situation was strange. The restaurant were the event was at didn’t even open until 4 or 5. The event was 12:15 to 1:15. I drove by around 1. It looked like the event was outside. There was maybe 100 people there probably less. Not a good showing for a town of 29k! GO TRUMP!
Well, from what I have watched of Crooze, he just won’t shut up and won’t stop pushing until he gets what he wants.
Have watched a few clips of him lately. He drives people up the wall - thinks he’s so smart and pushes and pushes and everyone is infuriated with him. Chuck Todd, Megyn Kelly and Sean Hannity were openly infuriated by him. Something is wrong with him, and I can see him not relenting until he’s made to.
I don’t think he’s a good debater. I think he just won’t shut up and he’s so obnoxious and persistent that everyone just throws in the towel to get away from him.
Did I mention that I’m not particularly fond of him? :)
