Becks Indiana visit comes on the heels of the latest round of mass layoffs at his troubled media empire. On Friday, after giving
an impassioned farewell address of sorts to his 40 laid-off employees from his replica Oval Office, the former radio shock jock joined his co-hosts in donning swim goggles and
rubbing his face in a bowl of crushed Cheetos to see if they could look like Donald Trump.

And how, pray tell, is that going to work? So Mitch McConnell hates Ted Cruz, and by proxy, Carly Fiorina, how do they propose to move legislation in the Senate? Do they think all 49 other Senators are going to be on board with what they propose? For Constitutional scholars, that seems little weak. It is the Legislature that enacts legislation.

Glenn Beck told rally attendees that he thinks Fiorina, acting as vice president, might take on the role of Senate Majority Leader, so that in a Cruz White House you wouldnt need Sen. Mitch McConnell...strange blurring of the executive and legislative functions of government from a guy who speaks so well of the Constitution.....

Way back in late 2015 I made the suggestion that Trump and Cruz join forces, that Trump make Cruz his VP, and then “assign” him to the constitutional role of President of the Senate, which would oust McConnell as the de facto head of the Senate. Cruz could have done it, knowing the rules of the Senate and the Constitution, but Fiorina would be a joke in the role—if anything, it would make more sense to put Carly in the WH and Cruz in the Senate president’s chair. But that is all wasteful thinking, since Trump is going to be the nominee and Cruz is shrinking his future brand every day he continues attacking Trump rather than running against Hillary—he doesn’t even have to get out of the race, just show that he knows who the political enemies of America really are.

Set aside the carnival barking. I think the VP becomes Senate Pro Tempore. Not such a influential position as Senate Majority leader. It’s a rather obscure position that the VP only exercises during tie votes in the chamber.

The fact that Cruz still has Beck on the road as a surrogate should scare the hell out of us all. These people can not gain power.

Its over Glenn.Over.
Beck and crew now sound like participants in “Moron football.”
But with them it’s wall to wall “moron politics.”

Beck does know that majority leader and minority leader are elected positions doesn’t he? Oh that right team Cruz does not believe in honoring election results.

Just a suggestion....shouldn't FR be designated a "Glenn Beck Free Zone" in the interests of no more wasting of bandwidth and causing projectile vomiting among the FR membership?
