In my opinion, whch carries no weight whatsoever, a "zot" should be a last resort for a troll or a disruptive poster or someone intentionally stirring up dissent and trouble on the site. I don't get to read the histories of those zotted and I don't have access to any backstories. The mere threat of a "zot" by some is, I think, hot air and a form of cyberbullying. Unless the owners of this site, or their designated moderators, make clear to the potential "zottee" that they are on thin ice, I wouldn't take individual poster's threats seriously. I think Mr. Robinson is very patient with many posters, including moi.

But, that's just me.

We agree that the threat of a zot is cyberbullying. That is what I was getting at. That will have a impact on some.

Me I just responded something like if I get zotted for posting a reply that is civil then there is not reason to be here and I doubt Jim would zot someone for that.

"Cyberbullying" ?

You sound like the typical Social Justice Warrior entryist.
