The beauty of this, Target has just telegraphed to all the other corporations what the mood of the public is on this.
Thanks Target.
Enjoy the lower revenue.
My guess is that most perverts still think that dumb strategy still works...
FAIL!
Dragging religion into the discussion is seriously counterproductive.
Guaranteed.
Who is boycotting the public schools for doing the same thing?
You are wrong.
And you forgot one.
When Target banned the Salvation Army from their premises, I never returned.
They failed to see the benefit to them.
Sucks to be them
“My guess is that most of the petition signers will still shop there.”
I don’t know. I’ve never signed a pledge like that and probably never will, but this will give me an additional reason to avoid Target. Companies that go out of their way to do stupid politically correct things should be punished.
Unfortunately there are so many disagreeable companies that it gets hard to remember which is which, but Target is easy to boycott. I don’t like shopping there anyway.
I hear Target is having a sale on dresses in men’s sizes.
If they apologize and reverse policy I still will not shop there.
Flush Target!
Clearly by “coming out” about it they are promoting the gay and TG lifestyle which is likely to offend some of their customers. It is always best for business to be agnostic.
Oh, they’re already starting to present pedophilia as “natural” - saw a couple of articles/studies on that pop up online already. Every perversion you can imagine (and probably some we can’t/won’t/don’t want to) is now up for mainstream acceptance since the gaystapo has been so effective at squashing mainstream backbone.
Nope. Walmart or meijers a mile away.
Macy’s felt the sting too.
Well Targets RANCID popcorn smell on entering their stores is still in place )-:
Target has long, long been in the same WTF category with Fox News. I NEVER understood the attractions.
Neither shopping nor television news stations have changed.
Forward, march!
I used to have a list of all the things that we have “supposedly” boycotted here. I basically could not watch TV. Could not shop for clothes pretty much anywhere. Could not buy groceries from anywhere other than a 7/11. Could not eat at any establishment other than a chicken place that has great service but barely passable food.
The list got up to about forty major chains. I should try to find that.
As I live in my cave eating tree bark and watching the grass grow....
“Target has been the target of boycotts for years.
There was a boycott when Target extended benefits to same sex partners.
There was a boycott when Target finacially supported the push for gay marriage in Minnesota.
Unfortunately, these boycotts fade and lose their power over time.
People have short memories.”
So do nothing and let them take more from us? No thanks.
Curious minds want to know.
Like this wasn’t predictable?
Target needs to FIRE ALOT of people. Including any legal counsel that gave this insanity the OK.
Just ask J. C. Penney Co. how things have gone for them since they made their decision to promote the gay lifestyle by having Ellen Degeneres become their primary spokesperson years ago. They have been on the verge of bankruptcy ever since that decision was made. I personally did a lot of shopping there until then. Now I won’t even walk through their stores as a short cut to leave the mall!
It depends on if women care enough about it. I personally think they should, but I’m not sure they do. Trump said Bruce Jenner could use any bathroom he wants in his building, and I imagine he knows his female customers. So I don’t know.
Check back to this thread in 3 months or so, and the 3 months after that to find out if this will affect Target.
