We got tricked, is what. It was a choice between a Cornyn-style RINO squish or this slime, who crooned all the right manipulative pandering themes. What tore it for me was right after he won the Texas primary he proudly announced his campaign being in association with the Bush/Romney/RINO/GOPe cabal - he wanted to be sure Texas was in the bag before rolling out that critical bit of info into the open. That was dirty and devious - he has been associating with the very "establishment" and "insiders" he's been claiming to have been opposing. We gotta find someone to primary this guy out with, landslide him right out of elected office so hard the next time he's seen is in one of those ambulance-chaser attorney TV commercials "If you've been injured in an accident....".
