looks like a nice necklace, but with a heavy nut or ball bearing inside, it could be a formidable self defense weapon to be worn in ...ahhh... weapons -free zones, know what I’m sayin’?
Hmmm, a marketing idea is born.
I once had a metal key fob shaped like a cat’s head; you stick your index and middle finger thru the eyes, and the sharp pointed cat ears can be poked in the eyes and face of an attacker.
The nice TSA folks at the airport divested me of it, however.
Please consider purchasing for your wife some self defense/ martial arts classes for women. The class I took is called The Dojo.
Self defense is a subject of great interest to me, having once fought off an attacker who grabbed me and tried to shove me inside as I unlocked my front door.
The police made no attempt to catch him, despite neighbors, who had responded to my screams, telling the officers he was hiding in a nearby shed.
The officers said the perp couldn’t be arrested because there was no evidence of a crime, ie, my body was intact, unbruised. The cops weren’t interested in the ax he’d dropped as he ran at me, or the lightbulb above my door he’d unscrewed. He hadn’t succeeded in killing me; so, no crime.
After the police left my house, my neighbors and I watched the perp emerge from the shed and stroll away.
This individual turned out to be a serial rapist who finally got arrested when he killed his victim by shoving a broken coke bottle into her. His prints were on the bottle; he had numerous misdemeanor priors on record.
