I would note that a significant number of Virginia “insiders” are still very ticked at Trump for donating to McAuliffe’s gubernatorial campaign vs. Ken Cuccinelli, who as VA AG fought the good anti-Obamacare fight up to the SCOTUS. It’s one reason Rubio (who was the Chosen of the Minute at the time of the VA primary) did so well in suburban Northern VA.
All to what end?
Cruz has proven through his miserable performance throughout the primary process that he is not capable of drawing the support needed to prevail in the general election, Trump has received more primary votes than any other Republican in the past 100 years, Trump has cleaned Cruz’ clock.
The only way Cruz could possibly be nominated is through lies, deceit and chicanery in conjunction with the GOPe treason-weasels who don’t give a good damn about the will of the voters, only about THEIR will and THEIR choice for who their designated losing candidate will be.
It comes down to this:
A. Cruz ends up being the GOPe’s selected candidate.
B. Cruz gets stabbed in the back by the GOPe.
And both of those options result in a MASSIVE loss in the Fall as the ‘RATS win by a landslide. And here is the thinly disguised secret:
The GOPe WANTS TO LOSE, they are perfectly happy with another Clintoon taking over the White House which means they will retain all of their perks, power and privileges and so too will their yammering sycophants in the media, both legacy and ‘new’ media who feign being conservative while selling us out.
Trump on the other hand, will not only destroy and evict those GOPe thieves and liars from the party, he will utterly destroy Hillary Clinton in the general election and we will have one rare and final chance to restore our Republic, return to a true two party system and guarantee that We The People “have a choice, not an echo”.

I suspect that many people who voted for Cruz in the past now regret their votes, including many in Wisconsin. His true colors are just too repugnant to ignore.

There is nothing genuine about Ted Cruz. We see straight through him and Heidi. But keep championing the globalist duo if you must. Ted is an opportunistic pretender of political rhetoric (he chose conservatism.) If he truly believed in the orthodoxy of our Constitution, he never would have ran for potus since he is a Canadian born of a Cuban and expat American.
Cruz has set in motion a system of suppressing the vote in order for him to win delegates in states where he would have not necessarily won. He is not an ethical decent person; he’s not to be trusted. Ted’s been busTED and Ted does not belong near Donald Trump.
