20 miles south is a university and the liberal town of Ashland.
All 250 probably drove up from there.
Sadly we have plenty of liberal GOP in Medford. It’s changed, not for the better. Sal Esquivel is the only legislator worth having. My neighborhood is full of ‘em. Actually, Ashland is only 11 miles away. If not for it, we’d be part of the State of Jefferson.
