At least 140-150. A Fox poll of California from last week has Trump at 49, Cruz at 22 and Kasich at 20.
That’s before the five state drubbing on Tuesday.
I’ve kept myself amused all week with visions of Wiley Coyote and Roadrunner (Trump). Wiley (Kasich) on a mountain top with his Acme/TNT kit that goes haywire blowing coyote/Kasich fur all over while Roadrunner/Trump is scooting ahead on the roadway below just ahead of the blast. BEEP BEEP
Cruz next up with an Anvil on the unsuspecting Roadrunner below and tosses himself over with it and through the road below leaving the anvil/Cruz imprint. BEEP BEEP
Still working on Ryan, McConnell, Graham somehow tripping themselves into their pit full of tigers they’ve set up while Roadrunner/Trump skips right on over the pit singing “I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy” all the way home.
Probably not original but heck, this last week has just been too, too comical.
Trump will break 50% in CA.
I mean he’s on a track to win big in all the pro-Trump states remaining... he’s guaranteed to sweep IN, WVA, NJ and CA. And he’ll possibly take NM.
Cruz is only wasting time remaining in a race where he has zero chance of getting the nomination.
I don’t understand him. Other candidates dropped out when they saw they had no path going forward.
Time for him to do the right thing come Tuesday.
