I guess the sensible people lost the debate. I know my parents used to get very angry about foreign aid to countries that hated us. We have made a lot of tin horn dictators rich, you would think they would love us. That is the other thing, the money almost never gets to the people that need the help.

That’s so true, bray. Levin and Rush and some of the pundits and pols are losing whatever credibility they had (some had more than others). I read that Beck was laying off staff - IIRC it was in 3 different offices.
