Ted Cruz, looking for a shake-up in the 2016 race as Donald Trump moves steadily closer to the Republican nomination, on Wednesday announced former GOP primary rival Carly Fiorina as his choice for running mate should he win the party nod.

Is Cruz running as a 3rd party? It is mathematically impossible to get 1237 delegates and the GOPe hates him. He is only the GOPe’s TOOL.

Ted Cruz has become an embarrassment. I doubt he is even able to retain his senate seat in the next election. His political career is over.

I think Cruz is putting her in place to try to get a bump in Indiana and maybe some help with CA. After that, if he were to rangle the nomination, she will drop out for health or family reasons. She is useless in a general election.
She won’t help enough in her home state, no R is going to win CA... she can be every bit as divisive as Clinton. And you would have given up the chance to nominate someone who could actually help win a swing state, which Ted is going to need a lot of.

I was at an HP facility the DAY it came over the PA that Carly was the new CEO.
I didn’t know who she was....
All I heard for the next 10 min was repeating ‘WTF’ from experienced HP engineers.
It all went downhill from there.
A former McCain campaign advisor, oh great. Piling on he Cruzer-Loser. One this is for certain, both Cruz and Carly have a similar, dry, halting, pause-filled, speaking cadence.
Trump will take the gloves off and go after Hillary like a proper candidate should, and I don't think she's prepared for that. Virtually everyone else, on all sides, kisses up to her by default. She's not going to have a good time.
