The Census should be demanding more information about gender identity, leading liberal lawmakers said Wednesday, asking the agency to start including more probing questions to get at the increasingly complex family dynamics in America.
Many federal data collection instruments gather respondents race, ethnicity, sex, marital status and other personal demographic information. However, most of these instruments do not include direct measures of respondents sexual orientation or gender identity, Rep. Raul Grijalva and Sen. Tammy Baldwin said in a letter they led, and which was co-signed by dozens of their Democratic colleagues.

they can pound sand....
What a stupid idea from the party that is increasingly clueless.
And more things to consider when gerrymandering.
Why are people granted special civil rights based on where they put their genitals? I will never understand this!
That would be the uniparty. Our uniparty leadership is extremely clueless these days.
Why? What business is it of the federal govt what someone’s orientation is???
Are they wanting to do affirmstive action for homosexuals?
How bout asking how many people are fed up with the federal, state and local governments.
How bout asking... “Given the choice, would you like to see all government employees shot at dusk or hung at dawn?”
Your guess is as good as mine but everything the Rats do seems to be connected to getting more votes for their criminal enterprise.
tell them anything....lol
If Obama gets his way and radical Islamists take over the US in the next few years, then it will be very handy down the road for them to have a central registry of all the gay people. That’ll make rounding them up a real snap.
Well that’s one way to find out just what a small percentage of individuals are actually controlling the rest of us. I for one would like to know those numbers.
More reasons to tell the Census to FO.
Post bears repeating. The definition of government is corruption. Work for any state, like say, Pennsylvania, and you realize that every agency is pretty much corrupt. Full of people all covering their asses on a daily basis. Nobody in state, local or federal government wants bad PR. And most will do just about anything to avoid it.
I always tell the inquisitive that I’m a 99 year old transgendered native American.
My gawd, how screwed up things are
Just when one thinks it can’t get any weirder
Yet more census questions I won’t be answering.
I had the bad luck to be selected by the Census Bureau for an in depth household consumer survey. They wanted to see all of my monthly bills, my bank records, records of my ATM withdrawals, and an accounting of how I spent every dollar. They told me in one of their letters that they were from the government and they were there to help me (thank you ghost of Ronald Reagan). There is no end to what information the Census Bureau wants. Of course, when they came pounding on my door I asked for search warrant and told the woman to “f#&* yourself”. They finally left me alone.
All right you stupid worthless excuses for lawmakers, get off the band wagon and get back to work on truly meaningful legislation...forget the queer bathroom gig!!!!!!
