Today was predicted to be a good day for candidate Donald Trump. It is not accidental that every political entity, every political adversary, in every venue, all day, from morning to night, is pushing negative stories about Donald Trump. This is transparently by design. Again, the goal is complete demoralization of their opponent and to turn a day of joyful victory into a day of concern and anxiety.
Matt Drudge warned about this six months ago. Drudge predicted this exact scenario and warned everyone what to expect in 2016. Unfortunately, massive numbers of viewership and readership cannot discern when they are being psychologically targeted and they are falling prey to the manipulative intents.
Your adversaries target your emotion, not your logic. Their goal never changes: Isolate, ridicule, marginalize and ultimately create fear....

I agree, and think that’s the case with the vast majority of the shills that we see here. There are maybe a few that are part of a campaign, and the others have donated, are on an email list, get talking points, updates, links and then use that here, while keeping up the invective. They may not be in on the strategy and the effect they are trying to cause, but they play their part.

And, by the way, I don't think anyone has had a big problem with genuine discussion about the candidates, and back and forth between Cruz and Trump supporters. Most of us here on the Trump side were Cruz supporters, including me. He lost us for various reasons, but we don't have animosity towards Cruz supporters. It's when the shilling becomes part of a game plan by the Cruz side, when the posts from Nat Review and Ted State are coming at us fast and furious and the invective reaches new heights, that it gets too much. Some of those involved might not be part of an organized group, but it is not too much to posit that many are.
Jim Rob decreed that enough is enough, that Ted Cruz, by staying in the race is helping Hillary, and he is right. Since then, some took him on directly, and they were zotted. Others continued the discussion without stopping their support for Cruz, but they did it with civility. Those that couldn't, bye. That is what this forum is for, not as a campaign vehicle for a candidate. If Manafort had an account at FR, I would say that he can't come here and post 100's of times a day, and go after opponents with malice, at least not without paying for use of the bandwidth and disclosing on each post that he was being paid to post.

I’m guessing that a good portion of the Cruz vs. Trump venom on both sides is self generated, here and elsewhere.
I’m also sure that in an election where big bucks and big power are players, there are people who are paid to troll on forums and social media. Probably more than I’d like to think.
The language and tone of some posts on both side does seem to border on psyops, but then, that’s the nature of a political discussion, isn’t it?
It’s not over the edge to think that some of the trash posting is the result of paid operatives. With the way news and opinion moves today, it’d be amazing if that wasn’t being done.
I’d agree that the majority of it isn’t paid, it’s just garden variety rudeness and the heat of the political battle.
I’m of the opinion we all need to be in prayer.

You may be right about the prayer being needed. This is the time when it gets dangerous. The beast is fighting to the bitter end. They will not go quietly. Not when trillions are at stake, between the crony capitalist deals in the US budget and the trade deals that secure profits for those willing to betray American interests. That kind of money makes all kinds of crazy things happen. Dangerous things. When they see they are going to lose to a man, that kind of money makes them think, “He’s only a man. A mortal man”.

I too am laughing. You should have mentioned that Kasich is pissing on Ted’s wonderful 11 percent with about 28 percent. An almost three to one drubbing by Kasich is probably a very subtle sign that he should quit while he still has any dignity left.
Ted sold his soul for the paltry delegates in CO and has nobody else to blame.
Looks like Trump stomped Ted 5 to 1 in one state and almost 4 to 1 in another state.
