We had TWO bouts of hail and 3 tornado warnings in ONE day in April of last year. My 20+ year old daughter was stunned - asked me if I'd ever seen weather like it before. The day seemed like it lasted forever. The hailstones in the 2nd storm were the worst! The sound as they hit the roof, I will never forget. They were the size of my palm and covered with spikes, like those dryer balls at the grocery store, only bigger.

We have a tornado room under construction right now and one already hit less than a mile away right after they began working on it.

Same here in Texas. Homeowners’ insurance is outrageous.
