‘Your privilege is showing’ — It is amazing how pervasive that has become in social media.
Shutting down debate is the goal of all liberals; nothing they are doing can stand up to the slightest question, so they want to shut down any and all debate.
I like to describe it as the politics of “shut up”. It is based not on finding out what is true rather on reaching a consenses that if questioned means one ought be attacked as a bigot who should “ shut up”. The irony of ocourse is that such a consensus is itself textbook bigotry.
