Will Bernie Sanders do to Hillary Clinton what Ted Kennedy did to Jimmy Carter a political generation ago?

It sure looks like it.

That was when, back in 1980, Sen. Ted Kennedy sought to wrest the party nomination for president away from President Jimmy Carter, a fellow Democrat, who was seeking re-election.

It was a foolhardy attempt by Kennedy who, of course, lost, but not before he seriously damaged Carter and his prospects for re-election.

Say what you will about Bernie, but I do think he is a True Believer. I doubt the Clintons can buy him off.

And lest we forget Ted’s collusion with the Soviets before the 1984 elections. The fat bastard should have been shot for that.

Carter damaged Carter’s re-election attempts, and was his own worst enemy. Kennedy just added fuel to the fire.

Wait a minute. The revisionist history is that Teddy damaged Jimmah so much, it caused the landslide?

Guess it had nothing to do with Carter’s record.

Same thing with Hillary. Bernie Sanders is not why she is losing.

If Kennedy had been able to answer a simple question from Roger Mudd, he might have beaten Carter.

Please....Carter did himself in. And if it was a right world, Obama would have followed him to the ash heap of history in 2012.

Yes the incredible work of Axlegrease and Plouffy.

They re-elected Caliph Baraq with of $4 gas, 8% unemployment (13% actual), surging food prices, Obamacare, and Benghazi.
