The winner of the November presidential election will likely sound a bit more restrained on national security upon stepping into the Oval Office, the nation’s intelligence chief said Monday.
“I am struck with how simple things are on the campaign trail and how the very same issues are hard in the confines of the situation room,” said James R. Clapper, head of the nation’s intelligence community, referring to the nerve center in the West Wing of the White House.
He noted that the job of president “has a tempering effect on anyone.”
“There are far more complexities, policy implications, legal implications, than it would appear on the campaign trail,” Clapper said at a morning briefing with dozens of journalists at a Washington hotel sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor....

No, he's simply a Ted Cruz propagandist.
As such, he is de facto advocating for a contested GOP convention, and all the chaos and dis-unity that will bring.
This means 2DV wants the GOPe to be involved in selecting our nominee, instead of the voters, who have already clearly spoken.
Apparently, Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.
And then what's he going to do somehow, magically? He's going to seize the nomination from Donald Trump, displacing the party's clear frontrunner.
Then what? This is the most ridiculous part: after swiping the nomination, he will:

Ted Cruz appears fully willing to sacrifice his own party, and even the country, on the altar of his own blind personal ambition.
Ted Cruz's egotism and malignant narcissism make Donald Trump's ostensible character deficits pale in comparison.
SO, like Cruz, 2DV is happy to risk all of that, as long as his failed candidate gets the GOP nod. How patriotic.

Clapper sucks but it is true when the new President gets sworn in they take him in a room and show him the book of secrets and it changes everything. Nobody really knows the totality of what is going on til they take the oath.

Here is the result of the Trump campaign of opponent vilification and trash talking. 2ndDivisionVet Is a long time and admirable Freeper being blasted over political name calling, a perfected Trump tactic. If you don’t like Trump, you must be a criminal like Cruz. That is lyin Ted. You’re a long time Freeper yourself and I would hope for better. Name calling often is used when factual opposition is difficult.
It’s a shame to see what a personal vendetta comes out of a cult of personality such as the one Trump heads. He is almost surely the Republican nominee.
