I think it would be a shame for Trump or anyone to go out like a sore loser. If he were to lose, even through dirty tricks that includes anything illegal or immoral, I would hope he would still care as much about America as ever. It doesn’t mean he needs to endorse or otherwise support anyone who cares more about their dirty tricks than they do about the future of our country. But I hope that he, and anyone else running, will continue to care.

I think that the GOP needs to firmly stand by the rules they put in place before this election season started. The process integrity matters more than. And its time to put to rest all the stupidity games and talk about trying to bend the rules. Does the GOP want to be like one of the whiners who was losing in 2008 for the Dem’s but thought she could win the nomination by changing the rules regarding Florida after-the-fact? Does the GOP want to be like that whiner? If Cruz, Kasich, or anyone else gets the nomination by playing by the rules with integrity then congrats to them. The best thing for Trump to do is to go win more primaries so he can sew it up on the 1st ballot. And the next best thing he can do is go ensure that all of his delegates really are his delegates and to do this fairly. The whole idea of quadrennial party conventions was to decide the nominee for Pres/VP and if things are handled fairly then Trump will start the contest with the most delegates of any candidate. He could very well win on a later ballot.

Full disclosure: I did not endorse Trump. I endorsed Kasich. However it was not an easy choice to make because frankly none of the candidates left in the race the day before the Texas primary when I made my endorsement looked exciting to me. So whenever anyone tries to ridicule me on this website or anywhere for my endorsement I just sigh and think “I wish we had someone better”. I’d like to think Trump is genuine but I honestly have a hard time trusting him that he won’t become like the typical two-faced politician we see all the time.

One of the most compelling reasons for believing that Donald Trump is genuine, is the very pride of the man, which some deride. At 69, he understands that this race--this quest to lead America back to her heritage--will ultimately define his life's purpose. Because he is a proud man; he will not betray his own effort.

For similar reasons, I believe that he will only grow more Conservative in the coming years.

Metaphor For American Conservatism.

Full disclosure: I did not endorse Trump. I endorsed Kasich.

Then in my not-so-humble opinion, you need to beat feet down the street because you are NO conservative if you endorsed Kay-Sick.

If you hurry, I'll bet Johnny boy and his GOPe lover will find a nice warm place for you:

I live in Michigan, and have followed Kasich since he was next door.

Can you explain why you like him?

I don't know any conservative who doesn't think the guy would make a better democrat than a republican.

Honest question. Let me know the reasons if you get the time. If you'd rather FReep mail me, feel free to do so.

Thanks.

I think that the GOP needs to firmly stand by the rules they put in place before this election season started.

The rules state that the new rules that will affect THIS election will not be drawn up and go into effect until AFTER they find out who wins the primary...This way they can write the rules which can eliminate the winner...

The best thing for Trump to do is to go win more primaries so he can sew it up on the 1st ballot.

Haven't you been paying any attention at all??? The game is rigged...They are not letting Trump delegates participate...

“I wish we had someone better”. I’d like to think Trump is genuine but I honestly have a hard time trusting him that he won’t become like the typical two-faced politician we see all the time.

You mean like Cruz, who has been talking out both sides of his mouth during this entire process???

I’d like to think Trump is genuine

Even if he is not how could he be as bad a Kasich??? Kasich supprts everything a Republican should be against...He's even funded by one of Hillary's sources of cash, George Soros...Trump couldn't be as bad as Kasich if he drew up a blueprint and tried to follow it...
