Thank you for the support...

The best option would be for Trump and Cruz to bury the hatchet and work together...both campaigns have the same goal, defeating the Hildabeast ...unfortunately, things have gotten so personal that a Trump-Cruz merger will be very difficult...

I think we can all agree on this...

“Oddly, I know TONS of Democrats that would flock to vote for Kasich, but he’d probably have to be at the top of the ticket. They’ll have nothing to do with Cruz.”
______________

That could happen in Cleveland....

Another things this Cruz-Kasich merger points to is that Cruz may work with the Kasich folks and the other non-Trump forces to change the Rule 40b requirement at the start of the convention...this would open it up to Kasich and Rubio being placed into nomination...

That will not be good for Mr. Trump!

"So I take it Cruz and Kasich are not running for president anymore."

here's a perfect example of what's wrong with America today.

two seasoned DC establishment insiders choose to stay in the race and continue to throw millions of dollars (OPM btw) at a losing cause.

plus how weak is it for two "experienced" pols to have the gall to ask the American public to vote for a loser???

this is simply not the American way, and I predict is will create another backlash from the votes and solidify trumps vote count.

Two losers don’t make a winner. Whatever drug you are on I just want to get some of it. :-)

If Felito isn’t going to compete in Oregon and New Mexico its because he already knows he’s going to lose there. In fact at this point where does he think he can win? There are not many contests left.

“You mean, you don’t think those two would ever collude and NEVER engage in illegal activity?

What is the basis for that faith?”

This merger was made public by both campaigns...no secrecy, nothing illegal about it...

Both men (Cruz & Kasich) seem very honest to me...so, in a word, YES, I have faith in their character on this!

Unfortunately, I’m taking too many medications for my health....

I’ll just point out that from the standpoint of the RNC nominating rules, everyone is a “loser” until they reach 1,237 delegates; then they are the winner!

I can see a path for Cruz-Kasich being the winner on the 1st ballot...

Maybe then, they’ll buy Trump the Chicken Dinner? ;-)

This truly is pathetic. The total triumph of negativity--candidates running now, not on what they stand for, but in their joint opposition to one who still dares to run for what he stands for.

I am sorry to see Cruz & Kasich so completely discredit themselves. But their abdication of what is positive, leaves only one candidate morally fit to serve.

Trump: Metaphor For American Conservatism.

Frankly, I as millions of other life-long Conservatives, are heart sick with a sense of how truly Ted Cruz has betrayed the better elements of his own nature.

There is no path for Cruz or Kasich. The GOP voting base is coalescing around Trump. Both Cruz and Kasich need to get out. Cruz is destroying what small political career he has by continuing to try play the spoiler in this nomination process. He has destroyed his chances to be part of the Trump admin and it now appears Kasich is doing the same. Rumors of Trump looking at Rubio for VP may be true.

After tomorrow night when Trump runs the table in 5 more primaries his momentum going into Indiana is going to yuge!

Console yourself with your little fantasy. Lot of ifs there which won’t happen. But take comfort in knowing that your candidate is still a scumbag. Many see through the corruption and facade that he projects. Will be glad to see you gone after Trump gets his 1237.

“Both men (Cruz & Kasich) seem very honest to me..”

So would you roll out Cruz’s U.S. citizenship verification documents. He won’t. You are bound to have some copies.

Not collusion?

Kasich is a “closet democrat” and Cruz is billed as the “purest conservative.” On issues the are opposite. They GOPe party leadership is going nuts & so ineffectual to allow this.

You would not see this crap on the democrat side of the isle.

That is correct. The people of IM wont take kindly to this backstabbing.

BTW, to the people claiming that brokered conventions are successuful? Take a look and see how they all went.

Reagan/Ford is the first to come to mind.
