There might not be any debate for Ms. Clinton. But I hope there is, as Trump will KO her but good. Hillary has made lots of enemies over the years, foreign and domestic, and now some are talking to the Trump folks. So lets hope she shows up.

Mr. Trump should debate one on one with Mr. Cruz. What we have witnessed in every “debate” between 17 and 3 individuals have not in fact been debates; rather lots of shouting, interrupting and name calling. Saying that, I know there will be NO debate. Such a disappointment.

He needs to work on dissecting policy and explaining how and why what he is proposing will work. If he can’t she will eat him alive.
I think that depends on the subject matter. If it's going to be about studying the things you study in law school ... sure. The minutia of existing laws that would have to be changed to accomplish what Trump wants to accomplish ... MINUTIA ABOUT GOVERNMENT ... sure ... the politician lawyer schemer fact database with all the debate training and renowned memory and no social skills is going to 'win' if that's what you call it. Cruz would probably win on Jeopardy! too!
Who cares?
If it's about how to actually handle an economy, make trade deals, deal with business leaders, stand up to foreign leaders, make deals with our friends ... if the debate is about the actual real world where things actually HAPPEN rather than just being DISCUSSED ... unless it has to do with snatching delegates and how to defend waffling on TPA ... Trump would destroy, absolutely destroy and disintegrate Cruz ... would leave him whimpering to be allowed to go back into a locked room with his books. where he could spend a few weeks with the Bush campaign to scheme and plan a way to defend himself.
CRUZ LITERALLY HAS NO PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE about how to run anything.

I just saw on TV that Trump said he would be friends with Ted Cruz in 5 weeks.
One that ignores the issues and just makes things up as he goes along? Yeah, that’s not debate.

Trump was, of course, implying an Undistributed Middle. But who cares? It was a great squelch.
Cruz reminds me more and more of Algore: He laces every sentence with poisonous little darts. Remember Algore’s debate with Dan Quayle? Algore would work in phrases like “deer in the headlights” in unexpected places all through the debate. Phrases that had already been widely used to Mark quail.

Cruz had dozens of exchanges with Trump over a dozen debates. Most of which Cruz came out it as the one few even liked. And you want more debates? You want a personal debate between Trump and Cruz now? How stupid is that? And why in Tarnation would Trump debate Cruz once again, when he’s beating Cruz like a drum?
Get real.
Just because someone can meet the criteria of a debate scoring system doesn’t mean they have magnetic and charismatic qualities.
Cruz might win on a technical level where he meets the list of requirements for winning but Trump has charisma and wins the hearts and minds. Trump talks directly to people as if they are equals.
