The interesting part is Trump throwing Cruz off his game. Cruz has a nasty temper hidden away.

So that’s why Trump avoids debating him one on one, Trump’s starting to appear to be as deranged as Obama.
Ted Cruz was a champion college debater.
But that’s about as relevant to televised political “debates” as being a champion college golfer.

Trump is not avoiding Cruz. He’s already vanquished him, and is now just twirling the knife inside of Cruz’s wound.

I'm sure Trump knows this: In an actual debate format you can't interrupt your opponent every four minutes...
Cruz participated in individual events and won a championship between a small number of schools in the US and Canada. He was not on any championship two-man debate teams that participated in the National Debate Tournament (NDT). Somewhat like calling yourself a college football star without never having played in an NCAA game.
I think Trump won every debate by a landslide. Cruz looked like a dumb liar.

Trump is right. No one knows how to handle him. Trump never insults the audience except when he accuses a few of them of being donors.
Cruz insults Trump supporters. Trump never insults Cruzers.
