But accising Cruz of actial bribery is quite difference. If Trump has actual evidence of that, then he should do us all a favor and reveal it. But if he's just making up a smear because it plays well with some voters, that's reprehensible.
“But accising Cruz of actial bribery is quite difference”
Apparently someone has shielded you from seeing the video of Cruz handing a signed flyer and folded $100 bill to a delegate. Of course later he made up a lie to say he wasn’t doing it but I watched the video and I’m seeing a bribe happening. Before you get back to me watch the vid for yourself.
I agree. They should produce the evidence.
Perhaps they are projecting their own motives.
From the article.
"You know I think we'll do some of that, I think that's natural," Trump Jr. said. "I think we're going to do what we need to do to win, to a point, but I think we want to win without having to do that."
From what I'm seeing here, party unity is a pipe dream.
This is a case of Trumpsters blathering about stuff they know nothing about. But it is the ACCUSATION that is important, not the truth.
‘Cruz likely has more allies who’ve been involved in the party for longer, and that gives him an advantage.’
Right, because Cruz is famous for making allies. Like the time in the Senate when he made a motion, and couldn’t get a single colkeague to second it.
So Trump wins delegates via the people’s vote, and they switch their loyalty to Cruz because they’ve been involved in the party longer? That doesn’t even make sense on its face. If huge swaths of Trump delegates only pretended to support him so as to stab him in the back, why is Cruz involved at all? Why are Cruz’ supporters bragging that Cruz plays the delegate/ground game so much better than Trump? If your theory were true, Cruz wouldn’t have to do anything, and Trump *couldn’t* do anything; the nomination would simply be a fait accompli from the outset.
Yes, that would be...Cruz like.
“Cruz likely has more allies who’ve been involved in the party for longer...”
Pulease. It is the height of naivete to think that the 2-year junior senator from Texas with the inflated sense of entitlement and obnoxious manner has captivated GOP delegates all over the country. No one with any objectivity thinks for a minute that they all have come to be so enamored of his engaging manner that they are falling all over themselves to be delegates for him. Ridiculous.
The GOPe is doing this. Cruz is nothing more than the cat’s paw for his establishment masters, who, at this point, want Hillary over Trump.
If Hillary is our next president, Cruz and his deluded supporters are the ones to thank.
Your candidate has lost, but his overarching ambition and whatever sleezy back room deal the GOPe has promised him, are keeping him in this, to the detriment of us all.
From what I've read, he's never had many allies before.
It's only now that the GOPe is using him that he suddenly has allies.
Funny how that works..........the very people he said he was working against are now suddenly his allies.
A simple capitulation of his principles. He's not who I thought he was.
And it's legal to bestow any favor one wishes to a primary delegate.
If they took $1 million cash, each, their only obligation would be to declare it to the IRS.
After all, that's the RULES.
You are right, of course. Talk, talk, talk. Where is the EVIDENCE?
So where's the lawsuits, big boy? Oh, wait... politicians can't sue for defamation, right?
It's a losing cause, dude/dudette. Your guy is a charlatan. A poser. Your bought-and-sold "constitutional conservative" is nothing but a lying sack of chicken turds who would make really garden fertilizer.
Hey, maybe you can explain something... Why does Cruz call himself an "Originalist" in all things pertaining to our Constitution, yet, when the topic comes around to the birther issue, he chooses to see our Constitution as "a living, breathing document" that can be changed? I've always wondered that.
