It's the non-thinking people that seem to be having the issues.
No thinking person would want a contested convention and the chaos and risk that it represents. There is no upside to such a scenario.
Explain to us again what the benefit of a contested convention is?

But it is in any case both slanderous, and inaccurate, to accuse Trump fans of being unthinking, or smug zealots, or to talk of "purging anyone who doesn't love Trump with undying love".
Come to think of it, such behavior sounds more like that of Cruz fans: it seems much more *personal* loyalty (or at least loyalty to another Texan) than the mixture of relieved opportunism and fear of Clinton, which power Trump supporters.
For that matter, when you say "I despise all these politicians, so zit me" -- that is pure nonsense.
Trump's initial claim to fame was that he has been a businessman, NOT a politician.
