Allow me. Not speaking for Jim, just reading the Tea Leaves.

If the Cruz and Trump Delegate Counts were reversed and it looked like Cruz would be the Nominee and Trump looked like the Spoiler, you could take Jim’s Post and switch the Candidate names.

It isn’t about Cruz or Trump, its about getting behind the presumptive Nominee and Trump just happens to be that guy.

The only thing that would change that is Cruz winning every remaining State Primary and getting every Delegate in those States, and it isn’t happening.

I would bet that 99% of the Posters here don’t see ANY of the Republican Candidates as perfect, but we all know that any of them are a damn sight better than any DemoncRat.

Now we have Cruz admitting that there could and should be a Contested Convention, which will accomplish nothing but getting a DemoncRat Elected in November.

Cruz lost a whole bunch of credibility with those comments, whether it’s the reality of the Process or not. The perception of back room dealing is not going away. The GOP had better tread lightly, the game has changed whether they realize it or not.
