President Obamas weekly remarks
Hello, everybody. Today, there are some 2.2 million people behind bars in America. Millions more are on parole or probation. All told, we spend $80 billion taxpayer dollars each year to keep people locked up.
Many are serving unnecessarily long sentences for non-violent crimes. Almost 60 percent have mental health problems. Almost 70 percent were regular drug users. And as a whole, our prison population is disproportionately black and Latino.

Apparently not if Hillary is still on the loose.
Clinton AND Obama. Apparently, we’re not throwing enough in prison.
Might help if there weren’t so many criminals getting caught.
If the animals ran the zoo, they would get rid of the cages.
That's his real complaint.
When he says criminals he means his fellow blacks.
The first step in his plan to release every single black prisoner by Pardon.
Maybe because most criminals are Black and Latino.
The problem with our criminal justice system is we have too many criminals left alive. If we executed felons like our forefathers did then the crime rate would be a fraction of what it is today.
I guess that’s how the racist brain operates.
I know, Obama....Hey, make it illegal to commit a crime!!!!
That ought to help, Obama......
Oh.....wait....
There are two very simple questions to ask:
1) In a properly working society: should criminals fear society or should society fear the criminals?
2) Which is the better place to house criminals: in prison or in neighborhoods?
Let most black american’s in the inner cities and the section 8 conclaves they live...give them a secret survey and see how much they disagree with this policy...
their lives are turned upside down, inside out by the crime, the killing, the drugs in their areas...they would get out if they could....
Certainly “felony-flation” is a problem. We’ve used it for things that we particularly hate, not things that would ever traditionally have called for people to be put to death.
Be careful about claims about “crime rate” as well. Many of these statistics turn blind eyes to alternative ways of carrying out evil.
I don't like prison sentences longer than 5 years.
If the crime is mild, give 'em 5 years or less.
If that sentence seems too mild, given a particular crime, then just execute them.
While I don't want to see any innocent people killed, our current system lets illegals and criminals walk the street. Innocent people get killed every day in their own neighborhoods. And criminals get murdered in prison every day by prisoners who have nothing to fear.
More executions would be good. Or else colonize Mars.
When everyone is perceived as doing evil, the shine vanishes off of the halo.
Our Community Organizers create too many criminals.
Can there be even the slightest doubt that he meant criminals “of color”?
