"I can tell you that if I go too presidential, people are going to be very bored," the New York real estate baron told Fox News in an interview that will air on Saturday. He added that he worried his supporters would "fall asleep.
"He went on to say that Clinton "is a person who's got many, many flaws" and that she's "the worst possible representative a woman can have," as he shifted his focus away from Republican rivals and toward the Nov. 8 presidential election.
"The only thing she's got going is the women card," Trump said in the excerpts released by the network on Friday. "We call her 'Crooked Hillary' because she's a crooked person. She's always been a crooked person."
Clinton said at a campaign event in Pennsylvania she would not respond to Trump's comments about her.
Donna Hoffman, the head of the political science department at the University of Iowa, said Trump's fiery personality had put him in a bind at this stage of the race.
"The impetus to become more presidential is coming from some of the elite organs of the GOP, but he got to where he is today because of his persona," she said. "To continue this way will keep him alienated from the party, but to change means his supporters will question his authenticity."
In a strong signal that his persona matters, a January survey showed that among Trump's supporters about 43 percent said they liked him because he "speaks his mind," while only 8 percent cited his policies. The survey was conducted by the Working America arm of labor organization AFL-CIO.

This is going to be fun!
Trump responding to Ann Coulter?
Trump might not be right about everything but he probably is never going to be dull about it.
For sure!
I saw a news clip of Hillary saying that the candidates should not be name calling. I believe it was after Trump nicknamed her "crooked".

Egads.... Trump should replace the MAGA on his cap with a Rorschact ink blob.
I would love a boring President...Calvin Coolidge comes to mind.
Imagine all the commercials about “Crooked Hillary” and that obnoxious fake laugh of hers. No doubt there is plenty of ammunition to use against Trump, but the same can be said about Hillary. The difference this election year for Republicans is they’ll have a candidate who will aim both barrels at the Clintons rather than be passive. Donald Trump will not run a milquetoast campaign against Hillary.
I don’t mind the frankness or even off the cuff remarks but he does need to stop repeating statements and facts related to policy that are demonstrably false. That more than anything is going to come back to haunt him as unprepared and unprofessional in the Fall.

Try us. It would be refreshing, even if it only lasted for a short while.
Calvin Coolidge had Donald Trump’s policies without the charisma. ;-) So now we can have both excitement and smaller government.
What I find most delightfully hilarious is that Hillary is twisting every possible way to avoid engaging with Trump...he hit her square across the face with a cast-iron skillet in December and she does not want a return engagement. She’s going to be running away from him all summer. She wants no part of a donnybrook with Trump.
Actually, Trump is going to revert back to his natural business like self. Anyone who has seen him in serious interviews recognizes the true Trump persona.

Right.
There’s a reason why the America haters in the schools and big media never talk about Coolidge.
Trump will have pieces of Hill in his stool. She is going down!
That’s good. Now we just need the rest of the Trump supporters, and some Cruz supporters for that matter, to identify the real enemy.
How long have I waited for this. His attacks are going to be devastating. She will go from being the most protected person in the history of the U.S. media to being utterly savaged, mocked, and completely discredited. Can’t wait to see how she reacts to that.
Whatever Trump’s checkered, leftist history, as far as we know there aren’t any Benghazis or Emailgates. The Hillary and Donald situations aren’t symmetrical, but Hillary has a talent for casting spells of excuses for the wickedest things.
