Reporter to Obama: Is It Any of Your Business Whether Britain Stays in E.U.? Jack Heretik

During a joint press conference in London with President Barack Obama and U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron on Friday, a reporter with the BBC asked President Obama if it was any of his business to say whether or not the U.K. should remain in the European Union.
The UK will be holding a referendum in June as to whether they should leave the E.U. The U.K. still retains its own currency, but is still subject to many other laws and has representatives in the European Parliament.
President Obama is a supporter of the U.K. remaining in the E.U., as is Cameron, and has drawn controversy from people in the U.K. and the U.S. for weighing in.
“Thank you, Mr. President. You’ve made your views very plain on the fact that British voters should choose to stay in the E.U. But in the interest of good friends always being honest, are you also saying that our decades-old special relationship, that’s been through so much, would be fundamentally damaged and changed by our exit? If so, how? And are you also, do you have any sympathy with people who think this is none of your business?” the reporter asked.
“And Prime Minister, to you, if I may, some of your colleagues believe it’s utterly wrong that you have dragged our closest ally in the E.U. referendum campaign, what do you say to them?” the reporter asked. “And is it appropriate for the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, to have brought up President Obama’s Kenyan ancestry in the context of this debate?”

I think Obama finally did something good here. He’s pushed more Brits to vote to exit the EU.

Sorry, but this made me laugh. It harkens back to the place in the movie Love Actually, where the President (Billy Bob Thornton)has been caught inappropriately touching a young woman at 10 Downing Street. During the tense news conference, the Prime Minister (Hugh Grant) gives a wonderful, pro-Britain comment and how the ‘special relationship’ may have changed a bit, and all those in the room are smiling (except BBT, of course). I suspect those in the room this morning were likely wishing Cameron had done the same thing to Obama.

A staffer of his was wanting to meet the Queen. That is the close relationship we have with Britain and he has a statue of Churchill outside his room .

When I was growing up, I would hear the expression “mind your own business.”
I think those words have been out of fashion for too many years. Liberals have been minding the business of others for decades now.
That was the question on top of would the Uk leaving affect the relationship the UK has had over decades.
His answer was how a staffer on his team wanted to meet the Queen and how he likes Churchill and he keeps a statue of him outside a room to remind him of Churchill.
The man is a complete idiot . Hos answer was one of the worst I have ever seen from him and that is saying something.
What I find interesting is after all these years he brings up the Churchill bust. Why?
