President Obama looks set to wade into the contentious debate in the United Kingdom over whether or not the nation should remain a member of the European Union and some Brits are angry at the presidents intrusion into a delicate UK issue ahead of a major vote.

Some Brits evidently do understand that. From the article, a quote from Nigel Farage:
"You wouldnt expect the British Prime Minister to intervene in your presidential election, you wouldnt expect the Prime Minister to endorse one candidate or another."
How Dare They Criticize "The Won" !
He’s getting downright uppity.
:-)
.
Well, what ever twinky toes advises the Brits to do, it will probably persuade some of them to vote the other way, if anything.
If they’ve been watching events in the US at all, then they’ll know that the UK isn’t nearly black enough to suit obama.
The backlash to Obama and his statements to Britain leaving the EU just may tip scales to the Anti-EU vote and Britain will leave.
For Obama to go over and jump into the middle of a debate that does not concern him in too much and all Brits will resent it.
As the US has been the world-renowned exemplary pinnacle of success over the last several years, what kinds of fools would NOT accept the obviously correct advice of our leaders??
Big picture wise, why does Obama care whether or not England is in the EU?
Honest to God, he is the grown man embodiment of Steve Urkel - and not NEARLY as funny.
More than doubling the length of the US recession (if it actually ever ended): “Did I do that?”
Doubling the US debt: “Did I do that?”
Libya: “Did I do that?”
US-Russia relations: “Did I do that?”
Weakening of the US Military: “Did I do that?”
Destroying the US healthcare system for all but the most wealthy: “Did I do that?”
Next: Tipping the scales for a Brexit via the backlash. The European leaders will have the knives out after that. Should be interesting.
He is embarrassing us as we write. British Press Conference underway.
The EU is just another step towards one-world government. From Obama's point of view, the larger the EU is, the better.
The Brits were all excited about the prospect of an Obama presidency in 2008.
I hope he does get involved. That would be the death knell for the UK to stay in the EU. They know how much Obama detests them, so him wading into the referendum will have a similar result to him wading into the Israeli election...meaning that whatever he’s against will happen!
The only thing I have to say to the Brits is that we’ve been putting up with this bullsh*t for the past 7+ years so imagine how we must feel.
Well, we are all looking forward to the summer Olympics in Chigago this year, aren't we.
Not all.

FWIW. Pages 102-106 deals with the visit of the then Senator Obama to Kenya. He supported one Raila Odinga of the same tribe as his father of record, Barack Hussein Obama. When Odinga lost the election against President Kibaki a terrible riot ensued. Christians were massacred in a church. Kibabi was forced to then declare Odinga as a Prime Minister and share power with him.
Of course the Senator, then safely in Chicago let it be known he had then intervened by telephone. He said he mediated a truce as it were between the two rival factions. Elsewhere it was claimed that the Senator had broken US laws in going overseas and interfering in an election. I have not be able to verify this.
