With the death Thursday of Prince Rogers Nelson, you may see a strange mix on your Facebook feed of sex and religion.
That’s because perhaps one of the raunchiest, steamiest pop culture figures in the past quarter-century was a conservative Christian. Religious and spiritual themes ran through a huge amount of his work, including this tiny sampling of lyrics:

Huh? i listened to his records for a LOOOONG time, and most of his songs is about hot chicks and getting laid...which helped me with some girls back in high school but that’s another story.
I know people that went to high school with him.
I was told some things that I won’t repeat just because I can’t prove anything.
That could be the case, but from what I have read, I leaning towards his being a Jehovah’s Witness and not taking drugs for his recent case of pneumonia.

I don’t know about the conservative Christian part, but I can see Prince opposing something as popular in his circles as gay “marriage”, just to troll them. His music was not really my kind of thing, but he was very talented, and an interesting character, to say the least.

I understand that he may have overdosed on cocaine and never liked girls. Am I wrong? Frankly, I never knew who he was.

I never was a fan, my girlfriend was and we saw him play around 20 years ago and ended up at an after party. Prince remained sober the entire time and if he were not outlandishly dressed, he would have been the most unassuming person at the party.
The show was amazing.
Y’all should look up Prince’s lyrics to “If I was your girldriend”. Not exactly homo, but somewhat twisted.

Really? I never heard that or saw him with any female. He never married. I consider him as a nothing.
