He's trying to play all sides of an issue, which is what he has always done, and it will mean his key promises never come into being. He's more interested in the adulation of the masses than he is with doing the right thing. I see it now, but it's going to take longer for others.

Maybe he thinks it is a sideshow trap. Who knows, at any rate it is insignificant when compared to the the real issues.
