Putting on the Presidential persona would be regarded as boring.
Laura talking about her mom being a waitress - jobs leaving the state... revenge of the NE Blue-collar workers is what is happening now.
Donald states he really relates to these people. He is glad to be representing that group - along with others
Platform discussion - L states candidates have a lot of influence.
Discussion of how both Crz and Don agree on the wall - would D be open to putting the wall as part of the platform?
“Good idea”... points out Ted’s support TPP vote.
She asks if D will put TPP not be approved being in the platform? Yes
L says if puts TPP in platform, would force Crz/ s hand
Talking about the never trump people. D says things are warming up
L - how will you bring us together?
D - I’m getting ph calls now that if you heard who these are, you would think no way they would ever talk with me. He says many are wanting to get on the Trump Train
One of them asked how will you smooth things out with Ted? “because they are politicians”
L- they’ll all come crawling back
D - I just want them back - not crawling
We will be able to heat hillary - Nafta - etc
L - brings up the African Am voters how to reach them over the dem lies?
D - I think I’m going to win the Af Am vote.
Talked about Bill Reilly appearance last night
OR was saying Don had taken down a bunch of pro people.
Now D say, I’ve got to beat Hillary now. I CAN beat her.
L - 2 issues: Trade and Immigration
D - listened to Ted lately he’s now talking the same two things but not from his heart - talking of Crz’ lack of support and ability to draw people to him
Jeff Session is example of gold standard of people supporting Don
L - the issues good for Don are not necessarily good for down ballot - per media types
D - not so - I’ll win states that have not been in play for years.
Repubs do not even have a campaign in NY. We will.
Democrats walked in to the repub primaries and wanted to vote for Don - turned away.
L - Question from wealthy people - will or how will D take donations?
“Have not made a determination yet.” “Im in for 40 million - which is much less than the others have spent.”
L. All the people that ran against you - they can now be on Dancing with the stars, etc

Laura Ingraham's mom (and Laura when she was a teen) was a waitress at The Farm Shop in Glastonbury, CT. I used to go there often when I was a kid back in the 1960s-1970s. I'll bet Laura's mom waited on us a few times. The Farm Shop was a great little lunch counter / ice cream place that is now sadly long gone.
Biggirl: Do you remember The Farm Shop in Glastonbury? It stood on Main Street in what is now Bertucci's parking lot. Fortunately we still have the wonderful Shady Glen! :-)
Laura is right... a LOT of jobs have left Connecticut lately.
